Fred. Olsen Windcarrier
Fred. Olsen Windcarrier and partner companies Global Wind Service and Universal Foundation commissioned TMS Exhibitions to design and install an 80sqm custom-built stand for the important Offshore Wind Energy exhibition at ExCeL, London. The aim was to create a space that would attract attention and where business could be conducted. The stand included an iPad tech bar that converted into a drinks bar, complete with beer pump, for the evening receptions. It also featured plasma screens, display areas for three large models, an enclosed meeting room and a more relaxed meeting area with two sofas and a coffee table.
New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership (NALEP)
TMS Exhibitions was commissioned to design and build two exhibition stands showcasing Norfolk and Suffolk at a major exhibition for property professionals and international investors. The custom-built stands, which shared a common design and branding, faced one another across an aisle at the prestigious MIPIM UK exhibition and conference at Olympia, with teams from the two counties working together to attract developers, entrepreneurs and business owners to invest in the region.
Offshore Wind Week
The annual networking reception and conference that takes place at OrbisEnergy, Lowestoft, is an important event in the offshore wind industry calendar. TMS Exhibitions supports the East of England Energy Group (EEEGR) in project managing the staging and AV of the event, our events team working closely with our designers, journalists and photographer to produce printed material and publicity to attract media interest. The clean design and strong branding of the staging provides a strong backdrop for speakers ranging from industry leaders to engineering students.
Southern North Sea Conference & Exhibition
This two-day event is the biggest of its kind in England, and TMS has supported the organisers, the East of England Energy Group, since SNS was launched more than a decade ago. The 2018 event attracted more than 1,500 delegates and 60-plus exhibitors. Our role as project managers involves months of planning that culminates in a few days of feverish activity with sub-contractors to lay a temporary carpet, build the shell scheme, set up meeting and networking areas, build the stage, install lighting, set up the audio system, fill delegate bags and produce badges. The end result is a professional event that always attracts widespread praise.
Fern Communications sought a step up from a pop-up, so we recommended the adaptable, versatile self-build T3 option, which was a natural progression from their previous portable stands. The system comprises aluminium bars and connectors that simply twist and lock together to create a framework for suspending rigid or rollable graphics panels. It can be attached to a shell scheme or used in stand-alone sections, and, when required, can be decreased or expanded to suit a stand’s footprint. At a recent exhibition TMS designed and printed Fern’s graphics and installed the stand.
